Well Julie's situation is looking better and better with each day. As we wrap up Day 4, her fluid levels were up a centimeter, from 12 to 13. The doctors have even begun slightly to question again if her water really broke...
It is always enjoyable to watch medical professionals unable to explain unexpected and inexplicable improvements in a patients condition, especially when that patient is a believer and has a ton of people praying. We don't know for sure what is happening, not even the doctors do. Yet, we take a day at a time and we receive the blessings and struggles of each day in faith, believing that God is guiding our path. These past two days have been filled with blessings. A day may come when struggles return. Regardless, we receive this day with thanksgiving for the blessings and challenges it presented.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 - "In everything, give thanks."
Thank you for a good couple of days Father God. We entrust Julie and the baby into your continued sovereign care. Thank you also for the many encouraging relationships she has made with the nurses and is enjoying so much.
