This morning is Julie's 38th birthday. Evidently , our usual night out to at Trattoria Marcella is not happening this year. Our waiter is going to wonder where we are. :-) We have another visit with the kids planned today and I am going to try to bring in some nicer food for a pseudo-birthday dinner, not sure if TM cooks to go or not.
I talked with Julie this morning and you can pray for her regarding pain in her back. Julie usually has a little back pain and more so during her pregnancies. Well, lying in a hospital bed all day on her back is only exacerbating the problem. Her muscles are tightening up and she is unable to exercise and move very much, things she would normally do to relieve the pain and tension. She was sad on the phone and I am sad for her. She does not complain about her pain...ever, so I know this is hard for her.
Julie did get a couple good hours of sleep last night and also said she had a wonderful 90 minute conversation with her nurse about God, church, and life. She was encouraged about that for sure. Please pray for Julie's efforts to love and witness to her medical staff. She will share and look for those opportunities. Your prayers will encourage her and also help those whom God is bringing to her for this purpose. And we thought we were just waiting for a baby. :-)
Thank you again to all of you who are praying and following along. I and Julie are encouraged and deeply grateful.

Continuing to pray for you all. Please tell Julie Happy Birthday and we will miss her at prayer tomorrow. I can't remember if this is your month or her month. Just know that you all will be covered tomorrow night.

Mary and I are lifting you both up, brother! God is able. As we all storm heaven - may glory be directed to God in all things. I know you both can weather these trials - and I'm praying for a powerful testimony & display of His grace and power.

Happy birthday Julie! I will be fasting and praying for you along with my prayers for the Delmez family tomorrow. You are both so faithful to let God continue to use you through all of this. I will also pray about how I can be used as your sister to lift you up during this time. God is certainly calling forth community for our church! <3
Happy Belated Birthday Julie! Praise God that you and your baby do NOT share a Birthday! We'll continue to pray that you and baby can keep as much distance between your Birthdays as possible. We'll also be praying for your family's perserverance throughout this trial and that God would give you all strength. We love you guys and would love to help however we can.
