Well it looks like we will be here for a while. Julie is leaking amniotic fluid from somewhere but nobody can find out where. She has not yet begun laboring and we don't want to since the baby is only 24 weeks along. There is still a lot of fluid in the womb, so they think that the leak may be higher in the womb and not at the bottom where it would all leak out. Anyway, this is their initial best estimate of what is going on. There are a number of steps and procedures that the hospital will begin as a result of their findings. So now we wait and pray and take one blessed day in the womb at a time. Please pray that the baby grows strong and that Julie does not go into labor.
Our life is definitely going to change in the near future. You can pray for us as we find out more from the doctors, manage care for our five beautiful children, and juggle the demands of life and work and everything else as we shuttle back and forth from the hospital, half an hour away.
We thank our friends, family and church family for praying for us already. We are in good spirits and trusting in the Lord even as our world is turned upside down. Thank all of you for your care, support, and interest in us and our family.

We're 10 min from the hospital. If you need us to run you over anything, need a place to hang out or sleep or eat, or are up for visitors let us know! Also we're up for watching your kids anytime. We're praying for healing for Julie, health for the baby, wisdom for the doctors, and peace for your family.
